Bored Portraits

I used to work on a cruise ship as a photographer.  One of my jobs was to set up a backdrop in a high traffic area and ask passengers to take their portraits, which we would later sell to them.  This could be painful at times, but mostly it was incredibly boring.  To entertain myself I would set up the lights, stand back, and wait as passengers and crew would pass in front of my backdrop. Then I would take their photo!  Some people were completely oblivious, some were caught off guard, and some who had been observing from afar were ready to infuse further humour into the situation.  I didn't get fired.
